Welcome to Churchday
Churchday brings the everyday work of running your church into one place. From a single dashboard you manage Events, your People, Email, volunteer scheduling (the Schedule tab), check-in, your public Church page, Forms, Tap & Scan, and Expenses: no separate tools to stitch together, and everyone on your team working from the same information.
What you can do
Each area lives on its own tab in the left sidebar:
- Events. Create services, Bible studies, and special gatherings, open registration or RSVPs, and manage who is coming.
- People. Keep a directory of your community with contact details and membership status, and organize people into tags, groups, and teams.
- Email. Design and send newsletters, announcements, and reminders to your church.
- Schedule. Set up volunteer roles like sound tech, greeter, or usher and assign people to specific dates.
- Check-in. Run a check-in kiosk at your services so you can see who attended and follow up with people you missed.
- Church. Publish a public page for your church where visitors find your events and next steps.
- Forms. Build sign-up and interest forms that add responses straight to your People list.
- Tap & Scan. Use tap chips and QR codes so people can check in or connect with a single tap.
- Expenses. Collect reimbursement requests from your team and track what you have paid.
Explore the demo first
You do not need to build anything to look around. Go to the Demo and Churchday drops you into a full dashboard filled with sample data, sample people, events, and emails you can click through freely.
- Open the demo at your church's Churchday link under Demo.
- Choose a church size: Small Church, Medium Church, or Large Church. This only changes how much sample data you see, and you can switch it anytime.
- Click the start button to enter. You explore as an Admin, so every tab is unlocked.
Nothing you do in the demo touches a real church, so it is a safe place to get comfortable before you set up your own.
How you sign in
Churchday has no passwords to remember. When you sign in, you choose one of two options:
- Continue with Email. Enter your email address and Churchday sends you a short sign-in code. Type the code in to finish signing in.
- Continue with Google. Sign in with your Google account in one step.
Either way you land on your dashboard. Because there is no password, there is nothing to reset, if you cannot get in, just request a new sign-in code.
Who can do what
When you create a church, you become an Admin, which gives you full access to every tab and setting. Admin is the one built-in level of access.
Any other level of access is a custom role your church defines. From Settings > Admin you can invite teammates and create roles that open only the tabs each person needs, for example a volunteer coordinator who sees Schedule but not Expenses. Start simple: most churches run fine with one or two Admins and add custom roles later as the team grows.
