Viewing the events you're attending

Once you RSVP to an event, Churchday keeps it on your personal home page so you always know what's coming up. This article shows you where your events appear and how to change a response.

Before you begin

  • You need to be signed in to your Churchday account.
  • To see events, RSVP to at least one, or be a member of a church that has a regular service.

Where your events show up

Everything lives on your personal home page, the page you land on when you sign in. There used to be a separate Your events page; old links to it now open your home page.

On your personal home page

Your home page groups upcoming events into sections so the most useful things sit at the top:

  • You're attending. Every upcoming event you've RSVP'd to appears here. If your place for a date is on the waiting list, its card shows a Waitlist label.
  • Your events. If you're the host of an upcoming event, it shows in its own section above the ones you're attending.
  • Past events. Events that have already happened appear at the bottom.

Your church's regular services show up automatically. If you're a member of a church that holds a repeating service (like a weekly Sunday gathering), the next service appears in your upcoming list without you having to RSVP each week. It's there because you're a member.

Past events start with the five most recent. To keep the page light, only your five most recent past events are shown. Click See more at the bottom of that section to reveal older ones.

Opening an event

Click any event card to open it. Where you land depends on your role:

  • If you're attending the event, the card opens the public event page, where you can see the details, the location, and who else is going.
  • If you're the host, the card shows a Hosting badge and opens your management view instead, where you can edit the event and see who has signed up.

Changing or cancelling a response

Open the event from your home page. On an RSVP event, use Change your response; on a registration event, use Edit registration or Cancel registration on the event page. If family members are registered with you, you choose who the change is for before you confirm. A date your church cancelled shows a Cancelled badge on its card, and its page tells you the other dates are still on.

Good to know

  • If you haven't RSVP'd to anything yet, your home page shows a short No events yet note. As soon as you RSVP to an event, it appears there.
  • Canceling your RSVP only removes you from that one event. Your church's regular services keep showing up because your membership, not an RSVP, puts them there.
